Daystar directors are available to meet with (one or both) parents for a consultation to offer advice on parenting kids of any age. When there is uncertainty about whether or not a child needs counseling, this is an opportunity to discuss your specific situation in-depth. Consultations are also helpful for parents of young children not old enough to be seen at Daystar. The director will discuss if more consultations are necessary at the end of your appointment.

• 50 minute sessions

• Focus on parenting strategies, encouragement, and answering the question, "Is this normal?!"

• Daystar does not see adults for personal individual counseling. The front office can provide a referral.

• Parent consultations are available regardless of where you live and can be done in-person or virtually.

When you have confirmed an appointment time with our front office, please read and complete our intake documentation in advance of your visit. Answers may be typed or handwritten. Please be sure to print all pages and bring these completed forms to your first visit.
