David Denton, MA, LPC-MHSP, TBRI

Since 1996, David has had a passion for working with high school and college students as well as their parents. He got his start as a youth pastor in Atlanta, GA and then Washington, DC before becoming a counselor at Daystar over 17 years ago. With his over 27 years of experience working with young men, he is the Director of Adoption & Athletic Performance counseling. David counsels boys, meets with initial assessments and works with families for pre and post adoption consultations. David is a graduate of Trevecca’s counseling program, a trained TBRI practitioner, a speaker in the community and a specialist in sports-related performance issues. In his free time, he loves coaching his sons’ football and baseball teams.
